This talk covers the new ‘Thresholds and Terminologies Matrix’ that police in England and Wales now use to determine who is an ‘Aggravated Activist’ and how they will be policed.
While this talk focuses on anarchism, the new classification system applies to campaigners of all kinds, who may now find themselves subject to repressive policing, surveillance and disruption if, for example, their activism has a “negative impact on UK businesses”, even if it is entirely lawful.
